You will he warmly welcomed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and
transfer to your hotel for
check-in. Check in time is 14:00. On this afternoon, you will explore the most
famous sites in city
including the impressive Museum of Ethnology, ranked at most favorite museums in
Vietnam. You will
see many exhibits, photographs and actual houses inhabited by some of the 54
ethnic people in
Vietnam. It will offer a truly colorful introduction to these ethnic tribes.
From here, you will
enjoy a Cyclo tour around Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter and HoanKlem Lake, the
focal point of the
city. Lastly, in the late afternoon, you will be enchanted by the legends and
stories told at the
Thong Long Water Puppet Show that no one should miss while visiting Hanoi.

You will be greeted at your hotel at 7:30 am and drive to Halong City on 4 hours
ride. Upon arrival
at Ha Long Bay, you will board our boat for a four hour cruise of this stunning
Ha Long Bay. The Bay
is one of the world's natural wonders dotted with more than 3,000 islands which
time, wind and waves
have sculpted into fantastic shapes. The best way to appreciate this magical
scene is from a boat,
cruising between the karst cliffs, which look like Fairdale castles. Complete
with rocky spines and
hidden caves. As the boat start to cruise, you will enjoy lunch on boat. On the
cruising time we
will stop to visit one of the most beautiful limestone caves in the area. After
4 hour navigation
and explore the bay, you will go back to the harbor for a drive back to your
hotel in Hanoi. Flee at
leisure on the rest of the day. Overnight in Hanoi.

This morning city tour will have you drive to Ho Chi Minh's complex, including
the mausoleum of the
nation, founder and leader. The Presidential Palace and Uncle Ho's wooden stilt
house can also be
seen here. One of must-see places in the complex is the One Pillar pagoda dating
back tothe 11th
century. The next stop is the Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam, oldest
university and
dedicated to one of the world's most famous scholars, Confucius. Inside the
temple grounds, huge
steles rest on the backs of even larger stone turtles (in Vietnam, culture, the
turtle represents
longevity). The stele recorded the names of the successful candidates who later
became mandarins in
the Emperor's court. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight to Ho Chi
Minh City. You will
be greeted by your guide upon arrival at HCMCs Tan Son Nhat international
airport. You will then be
escorted to your hotel in town for a two-night stay. You'll then have a relaxing
overnight stay in
HCMC.

In the morning you will visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the
Hotel de Ville. If
desired, you can also visit the moving War Remnants Museum, containing a wealth
of images from the
Vietnam wars, help you understand the history of Vietnam further.. You'll also
be able to explore
colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's main shopping
boulevard with shops selling
clothes and accessories by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high
quality linens and
houseware. In the afternoon you will take a drive to visit Cu Chi tunnels - At
its height, the
tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was
three levels deep.
The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas,
storage facilities,
weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the
remaining tunnels have
become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a
feel of what
underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam American must have been like. Back to
HCMC and free at

At 8:00 AM we pick you up at your hotel then we have about 2 hours transfer to
My Tho, the first
town on the main branch of Mekong. On arrival to My Tho city, we will drive to
Rach Mieu suspension
bridge with its panorama view of the Mekong surrounds 4 islands here. From this
bridge, the Mekong
travel approximately 50km to the ocean. These islands include Thoi Son, Tan
Long, Con Qui, Con Phung
which stretch out more than 15km on the Mekong river. Looking further to your
left, this main branch
of Mekong will split into Cua Dai and Cua Tieu estuary to the ocean. Further on
to the toll gate,
you will pass Ba Lai river, another small branch of Mekong that flow to Ba Tri
town, a famous area
with thousands of birds living in the mangrove forest.
On arrival in Ben Tre, we will get on board for one hour cruise on Ben Tre
river, a tributary of Ham
Luong – the 4th branch of Mekong river. Sit back and relax on board, drift down
the busy branch of
the Ham Luong and into the peaceful canal. We visit a brick kiln and a coconut
shell husking
workshop. See the daily life of farmers and try the hard work taking shell of
the coconut that is
unique to the region.
As our boat cruise inner the natural waterways, we visit a coconut-candy
workshop, a main product
that made Ben Tre famous. We disembark at a local market of Nhon Thanh commune
and start our walk
500m on village road, explore the market products. We visit a farmer workshop
making sleeping mats,
an old tradition hand weaving sedge mat or rush mat. Then, the Mekong adventure
is on, see what life
is really like for locals by explore this quiet island by bicycle or more
relaxing way by hop on a
Lambretta triporteur an old 1960 traditional tricycle in South Vietnam. This
Lambretta adventure
will be winding around the coconut palms, bitter melon or cucumber farms to a
farmer house that we
break for lunch and relax.
In the afternoon, we explore a bit more of coconut farms and fruit orchards of
this village on foot.
It’s about 700 m promenade through the village, and the villagers will welcome
us on their wooden
sampan for a paddling on small waterway. This hand-rowing sampan slowly cruise
under the canopy of
water coconut palms along the canals. Our boat will pick us again and cruise
back to the boat
landing in BenTre town. Then we drive back to Saigon. If time permitting, we
will stop in Ben Luc
for a short walk to the rice field, see the process of planting rice and harvest
the crop. Our tour
end in HCM City around 5:00 PM.
